Dopplers in Urological Surgery
The VTI 8 MHz Surgical Doppler System and the VTI 20 MHz Microvascular Doppler System are used by urological surgeons who want an audio blood flow detector to identify and assess critical blood vessels in a portable, easy-to-use format. The sterile, single-use probe offers the surgeon substantial efficiency and convenience while helping to ensure patients' safety.
The VTI 8 MHz Surgical Doppler System is used to guide dissection/isolation of the renal hilum and aberrant vasculature in laparoscopic and robotic radical and partial nephrectomy, confirm parenchymal ischemia before resection in partial nephrectomy, and identify crossing vessels during pyeloplasty.
The VTI 20 MHz Microvascular Doppler System offers guidance in open, laparoscopic and robotic microvascular procedures. Male infertility specialists recognize its value in identifying and preserving the testicular artery while allowing the veins to be safely tied off in varicocele repair.
